How PhotosLIVE Works

PhotosLIVE incorporates traditional skills into a product of today and allows anyone with a digital printer to produce high quality photo books. The PhotosLIVE system comprises a range of special covers with two simple desktop machines – DuoStitch and DuoBind which replicate traditional techniques of bookbinding putting the power of hard case binding into the hands of digital printers, photo shops and print rooms.

Cover Gluing Machine - PL500

The PL500 cover gluing machine is simple to operate. It has a tank you fill with latex adhesive (cold adhesive). The adhesive is spread automatically evenly over steel rollers (you can control the amount of adhesive).

The Twin rollers on the top transport the sheet through the machine where the adhesive is apllied to the bottom of the sheet. The amount of adhesive applied to each sheet and the transport speeds are controlled by the operator.
