Modular fold systems for different applications

  We offers special fold modules for mailshops. They are mobile and can be combined into different systems, adapted to the individual needs. These modules are also equipped with computer-control. High operator convenience, short set-up times and minimum waste are their outstanding features. The following machine systems are available: 

MB-System CAS 52 MAIL : Flexible folding solutions for direct mail 
MB-System CAS 52 ACCU::Accumulation and folding of a defined or variable number of sheets 
MB-System CAS 52 PoD :Fold unit for Printing on Demand 

Bulk loaders, transfer units and special feeders are available to complement the systems.

Typical Users for MB-System CAS 52 MAIL
From simple leaflets to creative mailing with options for code reading, fold gluing, labelling, perforating, slitting, scoring etc.

Possible Interfacing
Combination with EDP finishing equipment: Interstackers, bursters, rotary and guillotine cutters. For these modules, paper is directly conveyed onto the roller table. Depending on requirements, the modules can be placed in two feeding positions: either inline or at an angle of 90¡Æ
  to the roller table. Varying infeed heights are bridged by the height-adjustable interface IF 42.

Connection to modular sheet feeders: Suction feeder SF with high-capacity loader BSA 50000(up to A4 / letter size, landscape), suction feeder SF with interface 32/C (up to A4 / letter size, landscape), cut-sheet preloader  (up to A3 / legal size, landscape)

Accumulating and folding a defined or variable number of sheets

Technical Solution with a Twist Nest folding: This can be done when feeding sheets of different lengths. The short and long cuts (for example two 6" and one 12" sheets) are collected in the accumulator.

Letters with variable number of sheets, coupons, statements, checks or inserts in various sizes.
