Crash folers/knife folders are used for folding thick items such as newspapers, booklets and magazines etc.
By the nature of the material to be folded knife folders must be heavy duty, robust, capable of long run production work and able to successfully feed irregular and difficult stocks.
FBM's knife folders incorporate heavy duty vacuum rotary drum feeders for positive high speed feeding every time.
The sytem can be configured as either single knife for single folds or twin knife fold units for double fold. After folding, the machine stacks neatly between belts the folded output. Easy for strapping into bundles or for addition processing.
The FBM crash folder can be run as a stand alone machine or can be positioned along side plastic wrap machine with a direct link converyor feed fro online integrated continous feeding.
